Athletic Training

Athletic Trainers are an integral part of a Sports Medicine Team that work in cooperation and collaboration with Physical Therapists and local area Physicians to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes for their Athletes.

The Athletic Training Staff at County Physical Therapy have been instrumental over the years in ensuring the well being and safety of local area High School Athletic Programs.  Along with assisting in our various clinics as Therapy Aids, these Athletic Trainers are responsible for:

On-site Coverage
Prevention of Injuries
Clinical Evaluation
Documentation
Immediate On-Field Emergency Management
Taping/Wrapping/Bracing
Strength and Conditioning
Concussion Management
Referral of athletic injuries to County Physical Therapy LLC.

The Athletic Training staff at County Physical Therapy LLC work in adherence to the NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) Code of Ethics and Professionalism in our pursuit of being the best provider of Athletic Training services in Aroostook County.  All Athletic Trainers are Certified through the NATABOC (National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification), and are all current in Evidence Based Practice Continuing Education.
