Workplace Services Director, Occupational Therapist

Biography

Adam graduated in 1997 from the University of New England with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. He is the Director of Work Place Services providing work site evaluations, preventative education and in-services as well as corporate wellness programs for domestic and international corporations. Adam is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) by the Back School of Atlanta.
Adam is also qualified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) to determine a persons safe abilities to perform or return back to work. He is also working in conjunction with Northern Maine Community College creating a Post Acceptance student fitness screening for NMCC’s Wind Power Technology program. The goal of this screening is to determine a students safe abilities while performing the challenging tasks of a Wind Power Technician as well as maximize their safety while in training.
He is also certified for fitting and treatment with the Bioness H200 neuro orthosis hand unit. He is involved with CPT’s highly successful corporate “Boot Camps” as well as the CPT “Athletic Development Program” for the local sports teams. (co created with Andy Helstrom,LATC and Jonas Bard, MSPT)
His specialties include treatment of the upper extremity, hand splinting as well as ergonomic evaluations and solutions.
